On OSX, I uninstalled CF8 using the uninstaller application. Then I reinstalled CF9 Beta 1 using the webserver connection tool to configure the Apache+Jrun connection. I then started ColdFusion.

When accessing ColdFusion for the first time, I got a 500 Null server error. No information was in the out stream on the server. 

I traced the problem to a missing file. So I created a file named in the /Applications/JRun/lib/wsconfig/1/ directory and the problem was resolved.

When I refreshed the page, the CFAdministrator loaded and went through the configuration routine and started successfully.

Install the product. 
Access via browser. 
Note 500 Null error.
create blank file in the appropriate directory in ./lib/wsconfig and refresh. 
The administrator loads successfully.
