I'm curious that this is indicated as fixed and closed. The problem (reported here in CF10 beta) still happens in CF10, 11, and 2016. Anyone looking at their coldfusion-error.log will find that the error occurs. Carl had a forum thread (from 2012) where he first raised the problem, and I had explained how he could solve it (getting the needed dll manually), and he added more. See It surprises me that 4 years later it remains unresolved "out of the box", and that most continue to run without it. As I said back then, it's not clear what the implications are, but since then both Carl and I have learned that it does at least change the connector that CF implicitly uses, from the BIO one to the APR one. That would seem a good thing. Can anyone from Adobe elaborate on why this was marked "fixed" when it's not? and any thoughts ont he benefits of one implementing the APR feature with CF? And could you reopen this bug, until it is fixed?
