MySQL Community Server 5.6

Troy, I am using MySQL community 5.7.3-m13 (the supported version of MySQL) hosted on Win 7 x64 CF11 update 4 build 293328 hosted on OSX 10.10.2 JDBC driver : mysql-connector-java-5.1.32-bin.jar. I am able to query the DSN in a cfm page even after restarting CF. What is the update level (or build no.) of your CF 11. You can find that info in the settings summary in the CF administrator. Also can you share the specifics on the driver you are using (version no., source of download)

Hi Piyush, The build number is 000094 JDBC Driver version 5.1.34 (from ) It is very strange behaviour.

Troy, "000094" does NOT sound like a CF build number. Can you confirm how you are pulling that piece of info. Have you applied any CF updates, if so what is the udpate level (the latest you can have is Update 4 build/version no: 11,0,04,293328)? When you register a Data Source Name the information is persisted in neo-datasource.xml config file at (<cf_root>/cfusion/lib on a standalone CF server) Can you check the file to see if it contains the details of your DSN. The DSN xml element should be created when you register the DSN.

Closing this, since this is not reproducible and we haven't heard back from the reporter. We can reopen this if more info is made available.
