Decouple the updater from the admin: it should not require running CFAdmin to perform system updates.

If the CFAdmin will be distributed as a separate Installer it should have it's own updater feature

Assuming the CFAdmin can be separated out, and configured via a text file, this is something that should be included.

Yup, we shouldn't need to have the admin installed to be able to apply updates.

Updates are available as a separate jar that you can download and install. I am sure you are aware of that.

But that's a manual process though. ColdFusion is a £££ enterprise server product, and this is the 21stC. We should be able to do something like: cf update or something like that from the CLI.
