Problem Description: A non-SQL error occurred while requesting a connection from DATASOURCENAME. Timed out trying to establish connection. swagent.exe runs high on CPU and cannot be stopped with the service -- must manually kill.

Steps to Reproduce: Application is running normally. The problem frequency is about a week and happens on a different DB query each time.

Actual Result: Application produces error stating DB query timed out out.

Expected Result: Query should complete as it has not been changed between updates.

Any Workarounds: Kill swagent.exe and restart Service

Correction, it looks like it is swsoc.exe that runs high on CPU and needs to be killed. Sorry for the mistake.

Matt, Thanks for reporting this issue. Please provide the information mentioned below: 1. Does this issue occur when ColdFusion server is under high load? 2. What is the database server which you are using with ODBC connection? 3. Have you tried reverting the update to the previous version? If yes, does it restore the behavior? Please share the settings summary of ColdFusion server. In order to get settings summary, follow below mentioned steps: 1. Login into CF administrator 2. Navigate to Server Settings > Settings summary 3. Click on "Save As PDF" on top right corner.
