Problem Description:
When the file from the persistent cfc is being created it does not place a dot between the hbm and xml for the file type. When reading through the Hibernation documentation I noticed that the file were named the same but had a dot in the file type. Why is it shown this way on the Hibernation website and not that way when the file is generated by ColdFusion?
Save this mapping file as src/main/resources/org/hibernate/tutorial/domain/Event.hbm.xml
Are the files supposed to actually have the dot in it or is that an actual error?

No specific error at this point based on what you wrote. I just was not sure why it was not appending the dot before the xml extension was added. Thought it might of been a bug. Thank you for the quick response.
