Adobe has reported here (as of early 9/28/19) that this is "bugverified", but it is not listed as "fixed" yet. But in a thread in the forums, they are offering a new isapi_redirect.dll that fixes an issue with the connector. It's not clear if it's the same as this one, but it may be. Check out https://coldfusion.adobe.com/2019/09/coldfusion-2018-release-update-5-coldfusion-2016-release-update-12/#comment-35695, which says: "We have a patched isapi_redirect.dll which you can use. Its placed in: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/q2hv32vuw25oiho/AADpPdNBKC82IXXIxBM60m-ya?dl=0 Please let me know if this solves your issue. You need to goto [CF Home]\config\wsconfig\[Magic folder for your connector] Make a copy of the isapi_redirect.dll file Replace it with the one I shared in the dropbox link Restart the Application Pool for your IIS website Thanks, Kailash" If anyone experiencing this issue reported here wants to try it, to see if it makes the problem go away, please do then report here how it goes, or perhaps Adobe will soon offer a clarifying comment. I'm just trying to help people juggling all the balls, to get the update in place ASAP, especially for the security fixes it includes.

We also experiene this problem. Besides the occasional 404, we also get a lot of 502 bad gateway errors. The isapi_redirect.log shows these lines: [Wed Oct 16 11:14:36.380 2019] [4732:12764] [info] ajp_connection_tcp_get_message::jk_ajp_common.c (1425): (t1studiereaderci) can't receive the response header message from tomcat, tomcat (127.0.0.1:8020) has forced a connection close for socket 1524 [Wed Oct 16 11:14:36.381 2019] [4732:12764] [error] ajp_get_reply::jk_ajp_common.c (2402): (t1studiereaderci) Tomcat is down or refused connection. It looks like no one ever reported here that Adobe created a blog post discussing the issue and offering tghe fix (in a more formal way): https://coldfusion.adobe.com/2019/10/error-accessing-coldfusion-administrator-using-connector-port/ As to Ben's question, it's not clear (to me) if this fix addresses that.

Hi Charlie,   Yes we had published this blog post after I had made the comment on the other bug. It addresses just this issue (IIS 404 issue) and not the others. Link to the blog post is: [https://coldfusion.adobe.com/2019/10/error-accessing-coldfusion-administrator-using-connector-port/] We have closed the bug: https://jira.corp.adobe.com/browse/CF-4205361 as a duplicate of this bug as we have already fixed this and will release it as part of the next update (both the bugs talk about the same issue)   Thanks, Kailash
