Problem Description:
Similar to CF-4203902 which fix was applied in 2016 Update 11 but this is against 2016 Update 2012

It works on Windows 2008 CF11.
This is on CF 2016 r12 on Windows 2016

Feature is critical to operation of application


Adding a Datasouce to ODBC Socket or Microsoft Access leads to below errors.



CF Admin datasource
Connection verification failed for data source: FSC_MDB
java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][SequeLink Server]The specified data source is not defined.
The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][SequeLink Server]The specified data source is not defined.


Application Log
The description for Event ID 0 from source ColdFusion 2016 ODBC Server cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

Steps to Reproduce:
32/64 System DNS exists
Add ODBC Socket, select DSN Name, Click Submit

Actual Result:
See above


Expected Result:
Datasource OK

Any Workarounds:
None Found
Checked Permissions on install folders and ODBC registry entries.  Service account has full access.

Reinstalled ColdFusion 2016 and with a fresh install we get the same result.
