Import Local Server fails for local server

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Install Splendor
2) Install Thunder and choose not to install the bundled server
3) In Thunder, click "Import Local Server"
4) Enter a server name and enter C:\ColdFusion11 for the server home and click OK
5) See "Incorrect Port Info" error displayed in console view
6) In servers view, double-click the server and see "Argument cannot be null" popup

Page 4440 of the Beta doc says: "To configure a local Server or the bundled Server, perform the following steps".

Is that correct? Or is the "Import Local Server" only supposed to work for the bundled server? If I go thru the 'normal' steps of adding a server, then the local server is added fine. So it's just an issue w/ this Import Local Server shortcut feature.

Screenshots attached.

Hi Kartik, I've attached the 2 stack traces from the workspace log (.metadata/.log). Timestamp 2014-04-05 22:09:28.043 is the error thrown when clicking "OK" in "4)" above. Timestamp 2014-04-05 22:09:32.919 is the error thrown when double-clicking the server in "6)" above. Thanks!, -Aaron

Even if, for external server, CFB should not show "null pointer exception". It should display proper error message related to that in console log. (Comment added from ex-user id:sahoo)

If there is some parse error coming in server.xml, then CFB is not throwing proper error message related to that. Getting only "Incorrect port information" in console log (Comment added from ex-user id:sahoo)

Snigdha log a separate bug for parser error. Test this bug with proper server.xml and close it. (Comment added from ex-user id:kartik)

Logged a separate bug for parse error (bug id:3738524), If i am importing external server then getting error message as " The 'Import Local Server' option is applicable only for an internal web broswer.Do you want to configure a new ColdFusion Server? " So closing it (Comment added from ex-user id:sahoo)

Why is this limited to internal server? Why can't it also try port 80 so importing external server can be supported? Thanks, -Aaron
