Problem Description:

When I start a debug instance and connect the Shell App on my device to the local network instance Thunder generates a big error alert window with JSON / HTML string output.

I believe this is a known bug despite not being able to find it on the bugbase. I am adding it here for tracking purposes.

Have you got the duplicate bug event ID so that it can be tracked? I couldnt find it listed here.
